‘Slide the City’ Cancels All 3 Events in Washington for 2015

"Slide the City" has been canceled for all 3 Washington State events in 2015. Reports say that Spokane, Seattle, and Tricities had to be canceled because of problems the Health Department had with the events. The organizers say they will bring "Slide the City" back in 2016 when they get all the details worked out with the Health Department.

Other cities have reported problems like long lines and dehydration problems, but some are having problems with regulations like in Washington State. In North Carolina, Slide the City ran into problems because the slide had a pool at the bottom regulators considered it a swimming pool. That kept it from meeting regulations and that could be the same problem we have here in Washington.

I hope they figure it out because it looks fun!
