Here are 5 films you should see that you may have forgotten he did (or you didn't even know about.) RIP Wes Craven, we'll miss your deliciously twisted mind, and thoroughly enjoyable movies!

    The Serpent and the Rainbow

If you want to be truly freaked out, WATCH THIS MOVIE! It's trippy, freaky, scary, and very well done. I feel this is a very underrated Craven movie. Not for the faint for heart, but it's a great film to watch the lights off cuddled up to someone. I wouldn't watch it alone unless you're not easily freaked (like me).

    The People Under the Stairs

The best thing about this movie is that it takes you somewhere unexpected. I won't give anything away, but there are definitely twists that I didn't see coming. It's classic Wes Craven scary, with a different spin. I don't want to give anything away. Just watch it, you'll see what I mean. This is one I'm definitely watching again!

    Swamp Thing

CLASSIC! Go back to the 80s with this bad boy! Yes, some of the effects are super-cheesy, but it's a great horror film. Your kids will get a kick out of the dialog and old-school feel of the movie. It's not for little kids, but teens or older can watch this. Be ready for monster movie gold!

    Vampire in Brooklyn

Ok, so I had to put this in because it's so ridiculous! I had forgotten that Wes did this movie. It's corny, but fun. Not as scary as Cravens' other films, but a nice sort of comedic turn. Not sure if it was meant to be funny, but vampire Eddie Murphy is too good to pass up! You've got to check this one out!

    Music of the Heart

Ok, WHAT!? I didn't even realize Wes did a non-scary movie, let alone THIS one! Three teachers reach troubled kids with music. WIN! Plus remember the song with N'Sync and Gloria Estefan!? YEAH! Watch this to cry yourself happy.
