How Tri-Cities Teens Have Changed Since 1957 (in 20 Photos)
Recently I took a trip over to the Kennewick Historical Society to check through their collection of yearbooks. It's so fun to see how fashion has changed throughout the years!
Here's a few photos from each decade, from the 1960s-90s.
1957 Columbian -- Richland High School
Richland High was named Columbia High School from when it was established in 1910 until the early 1930s. However, plenty of people in the community still referred to it as Columbia High School because of their "Col Hi" spirit.

The photo is cropped, but even the cheerleaders had skirts down to their ankles.
The Homecoming Court all had very similar style...
1962 Keewaydin -- Kennewick High School
The ties were skinny and the hair was big...
...and all the guys had the same thick-rimmed glasses.
1978 Braves -- Kamiakin High School
Afros and middle parts made it big in the '70s.
Check out the sideburns!
1985 Braves -- Kamiakin High School
Clothes got baggier, hair got bigger.
1994 What Lies Within -- Kamiakin High School
This book had the section "Top 4 of '94", which included:
Chow Places: Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell
Movies: Aladdin, Philadephia, Mrs. Doubtfire, Boys in the Hood
Everything about these pics screams Full House.
