They say becoming a volunteer firefighter is one of the most rewarding decisions you'll ever make. They prevent fires and put them out. They administer first aid, such as CPR to residents in their communities. There's an entry-level firefighter position currently open with Adams County Fire District #5. You must be at least 21-years old with a High School Diploma or GED, have a valid WA State driver's license, and have one year's experience in Hazmat awareness.
