Your Chance to Help Area Food Banks in October–Here’s How!

For 20 years now, McCurley Integrity Dealerships has teamed up with various local partners to help the food banks in our region, and this year it continues.

McCurley is working with Yoke's Fresh Markets to help raise funds and food donations that will help The Tri-City Union Gospel Mission, St. Vincent DePaul, The Salvation Army, and Tri-City Food Bank. It's the Octoberfest Food Drive.

Here's how McCurley is helping:

"The McCurley Integrity Stores in Tri-Cities will accept all donated non-perishable items during the entire month of October. All non-perishable items can be brought to any of the McCurley Integrity Dealership in SE Washington and placed in the showroom collection vehicle."

And customers who shop at Yoke's can do so as well:

"During this month of October, patrons of any Yoke’s Fresh Market store can purchase an Octoberfest $5 or $10 dollar “Food-Drive Food-Bag” during their check-out. This donated “food bag” can be placed in the donation bin when leaving the store. These donated food bags will be collected and delivered to the area food banks at the end of the drive in November along with all the McCurley purchased food items."

Last year, nearly 1 million pounds of non-perishable food was donated between all the venues. The drive will go through October 31st.
