A Pasco woman was trapped in her vehicle this morning on a rural Franklin county road after being hit by a semi this morning

The accident occurred at the intersection of Ironwood Road and North Glade Road. The roadway was icy and the 25-year-old woman was traveling to fast for conditions when she was struck by the semi according to authorities. She became trapped in her vehicle and had to be extracted by first responders. She was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries but is expected to survive.

It's hard to believe anyone would survive by the looks of her vehicle. The accident is still under investigation.
