 How Long Did Driedger Play in Tri-Cities?

Chris Driedger, who hails from Winnipeg Manitoba, began his WHL career in Tri-Cities in 2010. He played a total of 22 games for the Americans. He posted a 3.50 goals-against average, and a .880 save percentage. He was then traded to the Calgary Hitmen where he finished his WHL career.

After being drafted 76th overall in the NHL's 2012 draft. He's played in 38 games in the NHL in his career since, most recently with the Florida Panthers.

Geekie played from 2012 to 2016 in Tri-City, appearing in 216 games. He piled up 78 goals and 202 total points in an Americans uniform. After being drafted in 2017 by the Hurricanes, he worked his way up through the system and like Driedger, has 38 games to his credit in the NHL before being selected by the Kraken.

So, now you know who the 'other' American who will be playing in Seattle. There have been at least 42 other players who've spent time in the NHL from the Americans organizations.
