As a lifelong Seattle Seahawks fan, it is hard for me to root for another team in the NFL. Now that the Seahawks are eliminated from the playoffs for the first time in recent memory, here are a few teams that I think are worthy for you to cheer for.

** NO, not the Panthers, that was only last week! **

    Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings have a chance at being the first team in NFL history to actually play in their home stadium. They have also never won a Super Bowl in their entire team history. They won 1 NFL Championship in 1969, the year before the NFL & AFL merger. Plus their fan base is crazy loyal! Winning their first ever Super Bowl in their own house would be good NFL Karma for all the years without one.

    Buffalo Bills

The Bills are another team without a Super Bowl Championship. They won two Championships before the merger but came short with 4 trips in a row between 1990-93. It has been since 1999 that they have even qualified for the post season. They also have a loyal fan base that could really use a ring of their own.

    New Orleans Saints

Even though they have won a single Super Bowl back in 2009, I still would love to see Drew Brees win another. He is the sole reason I would root for the Saints. As a fan of football you have to appreciate what he has done in his career and another ring would solidify him as one of the best QB's to ever play.

You may ask why pick the Saints instead of another NFC West team like the Rams? I just can't, sorry. Go Hawks!
