Where in the World are You Storing Your Favorite Digital Memories
What do you do with all your photos?
I was going to start this series, "Where in the World is Sarah J." Every week I would write about a different spot I traveled to when I used to work on cruise ships. I was going to share all these amazing photos of me by the pyramids or attempting to get one of those action shots where you are jumping in the air in front of the Acropolis.
I've come to realize recently, I have no idea where my photos are. At the same time, my phone has been warning me that I need to download all my latest photos before the end of the month. I have accumulated probably three years' worth of photos. The good, the bad, and the ugly. This is probably a sign I should create a better system for my photos.
This is probably the weirdest confession. I still haven't gotten my wedding photos printed. We just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. it's turning into a joke and we will eventually get them printed.
At this point, I am curious if I'm not alone in the hoarding of photos. Like this is part of the generation that grew up with disposable cameras and jump drives does this. We keep everything but don't really print as much out as we like. Maybe I'm the minority in this, it's for sure something I want to get better at but would you humor me for a minute and let me know where you stand?
Thank goodness for Facebook memories and photos I have posted or I don't know if I would ever see some of the photos that pop up in my photos. With only three weeks left of Summer, it's making me feel like I'm ready to take the plunge and start clearing the duds and printing the memories.
