It's Wet Nose Wednesday and Crook the Cat is looking for her "Fur-Ever" home

Our chosen pet this week is a senior kitty named Crook. Crook is 10 years old, domestic short hair and a tabby.

This sweetheart came to Pet Overpopulation Prevention after her favorite person was no longer able to care for her due to health issues. Crook is a delightful cat who loves to play with her toy mice and will toss them around herself if her person is busy and can't play.

Crook is shy at first however, once she is comfortable, she is loyal and likes to follow her person around and "talk". She loves affection when things are quiet and calm. If there's a lot going on (new visitors, other pets, etc.) she prefers to be left alone to monitor new activities. She likes to sleep in sunspots during the day, walk you to your bed at bedtime, and say hello to get her pets in the morning.

Crook has had a lot of big life changes recently. We're very happy with her progress, though, and she has turned out to be a fun-loving, playful, affectionate girl. She will need time and patience with a transition to another home.
Crook got her name because she has a 'crook' in her tail! Her foster mom says Crook is independent, very low maintenance and likes to sleep under furniture and lets you know when she wants attention. She would be a wonderful kitty for a retired person or couple as an only pet.

She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, tested, neg. for FeLV/FIV.
If you'd like to adopt Crook or get more details here.
