It's a Wet Nose Wednesday and we've got another sweetie pie to spotlight from Pet OverPopulation Prevention.
Say hello to Pepper!

Here are Pepper's stats:
Age: approx. 10 months old
Breed: Domestic short hair
Color: Tuxedo

Pepper was pulled from Tri-Cities Animal Shelter 4 weeks ago. This sweet girl had been at the shelter since she was 9 weeks old. Until Pepper was placed into her foster home she only knew what it was like to be in a cage. At the shelter her only contact with people was the female volunteers who came in to clean her cage, give her fresh food, water before quickly moving on to the rest of the kitties in need of care.

Due to the high number of cats at Tri-Cities Animal Shelter, Pepper had ringworm but was never treated so she remained in the back room away from the public. Now in a loving foster home, Pepper is learning not only how to be a cat, but what freedom feels like! Because of her background, she is quite independent, is not a fan of being held as attention from humans is all very new!
Pepper is learning about the joys of playing and has discovered that she loves laser lights, a small blue ball (she will play with that forever). Some other things Pepper is getting used to is being part of a family. That family includes adults, some older kids, another cat and small dogs (that she is quite unsure of).
