Local Celebrity Camel With Big Following Has a New Home

Izzy the camel, a well known attraction on Highway 12 is moving from Waistburg to Prescott. The 8 year old camel has been a hit with travelers along with his family of horses, and miniature donkeys.  But last week, Izzy and his crew became resident at the intersection of Highway 124 and Hart Road, about a mile east of Prescott. His fans are sad he's moving (as expressed on his Facebook page), but his humans are hoping he'll still get visitors. Izzy is used to being a celeb, and has been in several live nativity sets around the area, and has even been on TV in the show Z-Nation.

At the new location Izzy, will still be close to the highway, and his family, the Richards, still want people to stop by and see him. You can feed him his fave snacks: carrots, apples, dates, and wasani peas. Plus visitors can hang with his other animal friends, and of course take photos! So if you're needing a camel fix, Izzy the camel is right up the road! Go visit!
