Buying a good used vehicle used to be no big deal. Lots to choose from and decent prices. My, how times have changed!

You may have heard about the used car shortage in national news stories, but since my wife and I started shopping for a good condition, previously owned all-wheel-drive sedan, we've been schooled and it's not as easy as it used to be right where we live. We've driven onto several car lots in the Tri-Cities and are astonished at the lack of choices.
You probably also know about the new car shortage, related to covid-19. Computer chips that are necessary for today's vehicles are not being manufactured in bulk like they used to due to the pandemic. That made a used vehicle the premium choice in lots of cities across the nation.
But now that supply has been greatly depleted.
