Treacherous Weather Causes Hanford Workers to Start Late!
A very unseasonable storm is hitting Tri-Cities and is causing delays all around our region...Hanford Workers have major delays this morning...
Due to adverse weather conditions, non-essential Hanford employees North of the Wye Barricade and South of the Wye Barricade including Richland should adhere to the following schedule to alleviate traffic congestion. Employees are not to report to work earlier than the designated times outlined below so road crews can safely complete their task:
- 200 West Area and 100 Areas – 12:00pm
- 200 East Area and all Areas south of the Wye Barricade, including employees working in Richland – 12:30 pm
Swing and graveyard shifts: are on a REGULAR SCHEDULE for tonight March 12th.
The Rattlesnake Barricade will be open until 6:30 p.m.
Essential employees needed to maintain minimum safe operations are to follow their normal work schedule.
Winter driving conditions should be expected. Employees should use extra caution and plan for longer commute times.
