Too Hazardous Now to Have Hazardous Disposal Event–Cancelled

The Benton County household hazardous waste-items disposal event originally slated for April 18th has been cancelled.

The event was to be held at the Benton County Road Department shop on Wiser Parkway that Saturday from 8AM to 2PM.

However, with COVID-19 issues, the event has been cancelled, and no immediate make up date has been announced.

The event was to allow residents to safely dispose of household cleaning chemicals, oil, thinner, and any other non-dangerous but somewhat toxic items that were not suitable for the landfill, or going down the drain.

So just keep safely storing them until the event can be rescheduled. Benton County officials thank area residents for their patience.
