The Real Story About Your Magic Gravity Broom

A Facebook friend of mine posted that since the Earth came off it's axis, your broom will stand on it's own. I didn't have the heart to tell her that if that happened, all mankind would perish or at least be in peril. The common reason people are spreading is something about NASA saying the gravity changes only one day a year. Again, that's impossible and NASA never made such a statement. I hope I'm not crushing your dreams that magic is real, but the reason a broom stands upright is because the base is heavy and wide enough to balance the handle. And yes, you can do it any day of the year!
