There's a 30% you may have already known about the movie Mean Girls. Actually, probably more, but if you're one of those who LOVE Mean Girls, you know that line. But you may not know that there's a Mean Girls musical that's hitting Broadway! YES! And not only is the show getting the NYC theater treatment, Tina Fey (who wrote the screenplay for the film) also wrote for the show! No, thankfully she didn't write the songs and music but left that to her hubby Jeff Richmond.

The show features the same plot of home-schooled Cady getting an education on how things work in "girl world" having her first experience in public school being as a junior in high school! Our faves Karen, Gretchen, Damien, Janice, and yes, the Queen B Regina George will all be a part of the show. Even Glen Coco! FOUR for you Glen Coco, you go Glen Coco! None of the actors from the movie are playing in the musical (they're too old). Plus, do we really want to see Linsday Lohan singing right now? Crud, maybe we do. But in any case, there's a whole new fresh and talented cast played the beloved roles.

The show opens April 8th, and I'm pretty sure everyone is going to wear pink if they see the show on a Wednesday. So far, the show is only in NYC but I'm praying it will eventually tour. But for now we have to get our booties to New York to be able to see it live. So gather your girls, head to Taco Bell (unless you're avoiding carbs), and head to the Big Apple to see Mean Girls Live!

And none for Gretchen Weiners.
