The Matrix ‘Agent Smith’ Character Based on Carl Sagan [VIDEO]

I was clicking trough Reddit today and I saw the video below of Carl Sagan explaining the cosmos. The second he started talking I freaked out because he sounds exactly like Mr. Smith from the Matrix!

I know that actors get their inspiration from different places, but the resemblance is uncanny. Hugo Weaving has never said where he got his direction but this has to be where he got his inspiration for Agent Smith!
