The lights on the Cable Bridge are normally white but for the month of January, the Cable Bridge will go blue for a great cause.

Support Advocacy and Resource Center is also known as SARC has teamed up with Numerica Credit Union to light the Cable Bridge blue for the month of January. It's all about bringing awareness to human trafficking and National Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

SARC's program started in 2017 and has already helped over 200 victims of trafficking right here in the Tri-Cities - surprisingly, it's not only women but men can also be affected by human trafficking. SARC says 40% of their clients are males from as young as 2 and as old as 60.

The lighting of the bridge is ahead of the Shine The Light Walk which will take place on the bridge on January 31st.
