There's a reason why teams of ghost investigators routinely pay the state of Idaho visits and start rolling cameras. A nature walk that has been rumored to leave some visitors feeling a tad uneasy can be located about a 90-minute drive east of Twin Falls.

Gem State sites such as the Haunted Mansions of Albion, Idaho State Penitentiary, and the Idaho State Reform School have been shooting locations for paranormal-type reality shows on numerous occasions. These shows have become insanely popular in the United States, and have attracted amateur ghost hunters who walk these grounds and share their investigations on public platforms such as YouTube.

One Pocatello location that many people may have never heard about was featured on the website testedinidaho.com, and is a nature walk that attracts locals and tourists each week. The area is called Cherry Springs.

According to testedinidaho.com, some visitors have reported "feelings of being watched," and unexplained electromagnetic energy has also caught people's attention.

I've visited many of these Idaho sites that are alleged to have unsettling energies that many people pick up on. The Idaho State Penitentiary was one of those locations. I did a tour of the grounds in 2019, and the property's history is enough alone to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

The Cherry Springs Trail walk is unique in that it is one of the few rumored sites to possess this type of strange energy that is completely outdoors. Those who enjoy hiking and spending time in nature can kill two birds with one stone by visiting this beautiful location in Pocatello.
