If you've grown up in the Northwest, you remember the days of the Super Sonics! Our beloved Green and Yellow team is no more in the gray city of Seattle, but there have been efforts to bring the NBA back to Sea-Town. But those efforts have hit another snag. A big one.

Investor Chris Hansen wanted to buy and vacate, a one-block stretch of Occidental Avenue (south of Safeco Field), to build a new arena. His plan was denied in a 5-4 vote at a Seattle City Council meeting. Though he has been blocked Hansen remains hopeful.

What do you think? Would you like to see the NBA and possibly NHL in Seattle?
