Although no crime is OK, this guy made a minor theft a lot worse for himself early Sunday morning.

Kennewick Police responded to a theft-assault that occurred at the Circle K on Columbia Center Boulevard. Around 3:45AM Police say the suspect allegedly tried to walk out of the store with an unpaid for soda. When confronted by the worker, the suspect threw it at him, then reportedly hit the person several times with his skateboard, fleeing on foot afterward.

Then as Police were searching the area, a citizen called 911 to report suspicious person lurking around their apartment complex, hiding behind some vehicles. When Police arrived, 19-year-old Devin Ayala, ran to a nearby breezeway then tried to force his way into an apartment.

Ayala refused to follow commands, and was eventually Tasered. He's now facing multiple charges in the Benton County jail,
