Several Shell Casings Recovered From Kennewick Shooting Scene

The following is from a KPD press release regarding a late Friday night incident:

On 9-20-2019 at 11:22 PM, KPD received calls from several people of gun shots being heard in the area of W 4th Ave and S Dennis St. Officers responded the area and located several shell casings in the street. The investigation determined that there was a disturbance at a nearby residence which resulted in an unknown suspect firing multiple shots, possibly into the air. The suspect vehicles were described as a black passenger vehicle and a tan passenger vehicle. No property damage was located. There was no indication that anyone was injured. This was not a random act. This is an ongoing investigation.

No partial license plate numbers were disclosed on either suspect vehicle. Even discharging a firearm into the air is potentially very dangerous. If you are willing and can provide assistance, please contact the KPD at 509 628-0333.
