According to a media release from Christ the King Catholic School:

Named one of the best community events by Tri-City Herald readers, this is also the 3rd largest event held annually in the Tri-Cities. Most of the food served at the event is locally sourced from area farms not more than 40 miles away from the Tri-Cities. The corn served is picked the very same day. That's how FRESH it is! Also on the menu, all our community favorites including, bier rocks, Frito banditos, and slices of fresh pie.
