If you've been searching for the perfect gift for someone who loves cold weather camping and activities, I think I just found it! It's the Portable Buddy heater by Mr. Heater.

It uses the 1 lb. Coleman (or similar) propane bottles and is easily carried and stored with it's compact size. You'll get up to almost 5 1/2 hours of heat on the low setting and nearly 2 1/2 hours on high. I've asked Santa for one of these this year. We don't do much cold weather camping, but my ham radio set up is in my garage So if I want to yap on armature radio when I'm not on professional (term used loosely) radio, I won't have to freeze my antennae off! There are lots of Youtube videos on these dandy little units and I found them at Ranch and Home in Kennewick for $99.99. These are safe for indoor heating, but I would recommend a carbon dioxide alarm nearby just in case. But if you have  a co-worker or family member that is always complaining about how cold he or she is...this could be the ticket!
