A male motorist is charged with hit & run, and alleged DUI after a collision on New Year's Eve in Richland. The crash involved three vehicles at Leslie Road & Greenbrook just after 7 pm.

The man was arrested for alleged DUI in the incident, which resulted in minor injuries.

That's not all that occurred on New Year's Eve.  According to a Tweet from WSP Trooper Chis Thorson, another accident was witnessed by another WSP Trooper...

Right place right time. This morning Trooper Munder witnessed a hit and run collision today while clearing a stop on I182. He was able to track down the running driver who had been drinking and was 2.5X the legal limit! Nice catch Munder!- Trooper Clasen

If this says anything...It says, "Don't drink and drive." Please, if anything, take away from the images above.
