Late Night Thief Sprints Across Highway in Escape Attempt

Thursday night, around 8:50pm, Kennewick police were alerted by a loss prevention officer at a business in the 2700 block of Quillan, which is near Walmart on Highway 395.

The subject, identified as 32-year-old Eduardo Larios, left the store with merchandise and fled on foot. He then raced across Highway 395, dodging vehicles and jumped a fence.

Officers pursued, and he was found west of the highway, trying to hide behind some buildings. He was captured without incident and taken to the Benton County jail on various charges.
