If you've been wanting to get your license to carry a concealed pistol, but never have taken the time to go to your local police department to apply, it's now one step easier.

Kennewick Police are now accepting your application by mail. Just go to the link in the KPD Facebook post below and you can print out the application. Once they do your background check and find out you're one of the good guys, you'll need to go in for your finger printing. Remember, if you live in Richland, you need to apply for your CPL at the Richland Police Dept., Pasco residents apply in Pasco and so on. If you live in a rural area, you need to apply at your nearest Sheriff's Office. Contact your local law enforcement office to see if maybe they also offer applications by mail.

If you're new to shooting pistols, it would naturally be a good idea (a very good idea) to practice and be completely comfortable with your firearm before you carry on a regular basis. It's also important that after you shoot, you learn how to field strip and clean your gun. A clean gun is a happy gun. Beginning immediately we are now accepting applications for new concealed Pistol Licenses by mail. Please visit our...
