Kmart Closes All But 6 Stores, I found 1 Still Open in Montana!

When was the last time you saw a Kmart store? Where was it? I thought there weren't any more Kmarts, at all. I heard a report somewhere, that Kmart was downsizing. In fact, it's been many years since I saw a Kmart. So, I was quite surprised to see one still open in Montana! I made my husband turn around so I could get a good photo. Yes, indeed, this Kmart was ALIVE!

Yep. There is a remaining Kmart in Hamilton, Montana. I wonder if they still do the Blue light special. There wasn't a lot of traffic at the store. I didn't stop, cuz I didn't need anything. I was just happy to see that there was a Kmart open, and, of all places, in the middle of nowhere, Montana!

I remember Kmart was the one place that had everything we needed as a family of 4. It was where I got Trax tennis shoes. Those were the shoes to get before Nike came on the scene. Kmart was the place that everyone in the family got everything we needed for life.

Years later, in California, I would still shop at Kmart for the deals and blue-light specials until Walmart took over.
