Nature is an interesting thing, isn't it?

Take the Doberman for example.  Like, how do you just make one? You know, by breeding different dogs to create what will eventually become a purebred Doberman. A guy by the name of Karl Dobermann did exactly that in the late 1800s. He wanted a dog for protection, a very loyal dog. And that's exactly what he got in creating the Doberman.  Now, not all Dobermans will rip your face off. It's all in the training of course. But they have a ferocious reputation, even though they're very obedient creatures. So you can imagine the look on the guy's face when he stole a vehicle in Kennewick, that had 2 Dobermans In the back seat! But wait, as you'll see in the pictures below, these Dobermans did not have their ears cropped. I personally think the idea of cropping and chopping off tails is kind of ridiculous. It's even illegal in some places. No cropped ears on a Doberman make them look like playful puppies! So maybe that's why the crook who stole the vehicle didn't care that it was occupied by Dobermans. This story does have a happy ending though. The vehicle and the pups have been recovered. Perhaps the playful looking, uncropped puppies let their Doberman instincts kick in and convinced the thief to pull over and get the heck out of that vehicle!

***UPDATE***
