Kennewick ‘Toyota Center’ Name to Stay the Same

The Toyota Center will keep its name for at least another 5 years reports say. The area Toyota dealers have struck an extension for 1.1 million dollars to keep the name and sponsorship. The money in the past was used to attract big shows and to improve the venue. The facility was renamed the Toyota Center in 2005 but has been in the community for the last 28 years.

There is a celebration event planned for October 1st at 11:30 am to celebrate the name extension.
