Saturday Night, Kennewick Police were called out to the scene of an accident on West Columbia Drive for a single-vehicle accident, where the vehicle apparently stopped just short of hitting a building. The juvenile struck a metal guide rail, a fire hydrant, and a parked vehicle in the 100 block of West Columbia Drive.

According to the Kennewick Police Department Facebook page, the driver was a juvenile teen who was under the influence.

After our investigation, it was found that the Juvenile Driver (whose name will not be released because of age) was both suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.

No one was injured in the collision. The teen was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.

After a search warrant was obtained, blood was taken to determine the level of the juvenile's intoxication. The teen was then taken to the Benton Franklin Juvenile Justice Center and booked for DUI and Driving With a Suspended License.
