Remember the days of Crime Stoppers and their tipline? As a teen growing up in the 80's I remember that if you wanted to leave an anonymous tip, that's how you did it.

Times have changed and technology has advanced and Kennewick Police are changing with the times as well.

They've implemented a new tip portal online that you can use to report a crime or tips to help the police if you see suspicious activities.

Kennewick Police posted on their Facebook page about the new portal and here's what they said about it:

We often ask you, our community, help in identifying suspects or vehicles related to crimes, but didn't have a good place for you to report it, until now. We have just launched our anonymous tip program on our website. If you recognize someone or a vehicle we have posted or you are aware of criminal activity in your neighborhood, please use this new resource and help us make our community safer.

I know some people don't like to use the phone and now there is a portal to report your tips and it's all anonymous. Click the link below to check out the new portal:

Technology keeps getting better and better and now you have easy access to be able to contact the Kennewick Police without picking up the phone.
