Giving birth to your first child requires a total life readjustment for the new parents, but what about the parents' BFFs?

As Jennifer Lawrence recently proved, friends are also heavily affected by newborns. Especially when they have questions about their favorite TV show. Her bestie Amy Schumer recently gave birth to her first son, Gene Attell Fischer, and like any new momma she's tired. But that didn't stop the 28-year-old from desperately texting her about The Handmaid's Tale. The comedienne shared a screenshot from a hilarious conversation between the two of them on her Instagram story.

"You up? I have questions about hand maids take. Tale," JLaw wrote, correcting her typo. "It's an emergency."

When Schumer didn't respond, the actress got frantic.

"Amy!!! What did she do on season 1 to deserve being in the gallows on season 2," she wrote. "I can't remember where I left off. Are you asleep bc of the baby??? Are you asleep before 11? Is this bc of the baby? Don't make me resent the baby."

After waiting a little longer with no reply, she gave up. "Wow," Lawrence wrote. "Ur really asleep before 11. I'll be damned."

"Hi! I'm awake!" Schumer later replied. "She ran away." But it was too little too late.

"Everybody keeping their cool about me having a baby," she captioned the photo. Check out the post below.
