The prom-night of the movie world, The Academy Awards, has just announced the nominations for this year's awards. There were snubs, surprises, and Meryl Streep, who is pretty much always nominated just for showing up. Many in the industry were upset to see that none of the actors/actresses nominated were minorities, and no women directors were nominated. I for one, am not surprised.
