Panasonic has recalled these 55 inch LED/LCD televisions with tabletop swivel stands because they can tip over easy injuring someone because of a design flaw.

The Tv's were sold for use in hotels, government buildings and schools. The model number is TH055LRU50 and they are black with “Panasonic” printed on the front.

Under 1,000 Tv's were sold, according to the Panasonic press release.

Remedy:

Consumers using the swivel stand should immediately detach it, place the television in a safe location away from children and contact Panasonic for a free repair kit.

The television and swivel stands were sold to hotels, government buildings and schools from July 2012 through March 2014 for about $1,825 for the television and the swivel stand.
