School's out. Sun's out. Let's have some fun! Here's a list of some cool events happening around the Tri-Cities area this weekend (June 15-17)!

Sister Act Preview-  Wine, food and a sneak peek of one of the hottest shows at Columbia Basin College. Frichette and CBC present a preview of Sister Act, the musical comedy about a lounge singer pretending to be a nun to outrun a mob boss who has her on a hit list. Take a seat on the lawn and enjoy some of the premiere acts from the show before the opening. Bring a lawn chair. Food and wine available for purchase. Click here for tickets!

The Tempest- For twelve years, the exiled Duke Prospero has waited for this moment: Old enemies have sailed too close to his enchanted island, and a mighty tempest has forced them ashore. Now it’s time to settle old scores and reclaim his former dukedom for his daughter, Miranda. Aided by supernatural powers and magical spirits, Prospero dispenses justice while overseeing the growing attraction between Miranda and the princely son of one of his foes. Final weekend! Tri-Cities Brass Ensemble- The Tri-Cities Brass Ensemble formed in 2017 when six local musicians had the desire to play in a brass ensemble. While each of the members has a busy schedule of teaching (or being a student), they all set aside time every week to make music together. They play everything from classics to contemporary and love to share music with the Tri-Cities community. They'll be playing at The Listening Room at Magnolia Music Studio.

Garden Arts Tour at ACT- The 20th annual Garden Arts Tour will be on Saturday, June 16th! The tour showcases several beautiful venues that reflect the diversity of landscapes found in the Tri-Cities. The event will be from 9am to 3pm, then for the finale they'll celebrate from 3-5pm at a special Garden Party Reception! Artists and entertainment will be a highlight of the Garden Tour. Tickets are only $30 per person for this worthwhile and valuable celebration of garden arts! Proceeds benefit the programs, classes, and productions of ACT!

Taco Festival, Car Show and Jaripeo- The Unity Car Show is June 16th at the Kennewick Fair Grounds. Roll in at 8am. There will be cash prizes and trophies. Food beverages and entertainment all day. $6 to get in to the event. Prizes for the Car Club that registers more cars from their club.

Beer Choir: Atomic Chapter June meeting- Sing! Drink Beer and Cider! They will provide the Beer Choir Hymnal and have a grand time in the ancient tradition of people singing while drinking beer. Stay for as little or as long as you'd like. Haven't been to a Beer Choir Atomic Chapter meeting for a while? They've added a number of new songs in our Beer Choir Hymnal supplement (printed on spill proof paper) prepared by their amazing keyboard player, Dan. Beer Choir is FREE and open to the public. No auditions or experience necessary. Dress accordingly if you want to enjoy their outdoor patio at D's Wicked Cider!

 Jazz at the Venezia- Venezia's Jazz music night with Carson Goody Quartet band.
The music starts at 6:30 and goes until 9:30 pm. Grab some great drinks and food and listen to amazing local jazz artists. Join them for a lovely evening!
