FREE Covid Testing Site Moves from HAPO Center to Kennewick
As of today (Tuesday), the Covid-19 testing site at Pasco's HAPO Center is closed. The site has moved to a new location in Kennewick.
FREE drive-thru testing is available Tuesday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm at 1709 South Ely Street. You can pre-register online for an arrival time before you visit the testing site. You can pre-register if you're experiencing symptoms or you can pre-register with NO symptoms.
According to the Benton Franklin Health District, Covid-19 symptoms are:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Wearing a mask will help prevent you from getting or spreading the virus. You should stay at least 6 feet away from people who don't reside with you. Avoid crowds. The more people you are in contact with, the more likely you'll be exposed to the virus. Wash your hands more often, with soap and water. If soap and water aren't available to you, use a hand sanitizer. It's important to wash or sanitize your hands:
Before eating or preparing food
Before touching your face
After using the restroom
After leaving a public place
After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
After handling your mask
After changing a diaper
After caring for someone sick
After touching animals or pets
FREE COVID-19 testing is available for residents of Benton and Franklin Counties for everyone over 2-years old. Insurance is NOT required to be tested. For more information, click the button below.
