Halloween is one of the most exciting events for parents and kids alike! My toddler loves Halloween, especially "spookies" (decorations, mainly animatronics). She also really enjoys watching family-friendly Halloween movies with us.

Kennewick Parks & Recreation is putting together an event that is perfect for families to celebrate Halloween. On October 31, be sure to catch the first-ever Flick-or-Treat at Columbia Park!

Kids can pick up a candy bag (while supplies last) from 2 PM - 4 PM. There will also be a costume contest with prizes for first, second, and third place. On top of all of this, there will also be photo opportunities with police and fire vehicles! This will all be happening at the Toyota of Tri-Cities Playground of Dreams Parking Lot!

Now, for the flick in Flick-or-Treat; there will be TWO movies your family can catch in the acreage west of the Playground of Dreams. The first movie will be a showing of Halloweentown at 5:00. At 8:30, your family will thrill at a viewing of Hocus Pocus. Your $9 movie ticket will include a large bag of popcorn.
