Grant County and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) crews are seen finishing off what was called the Cliff Fire, which broke out July 1 near the Wildhorse Monument along I-90 just east of Vantage.

The fire initially spread fast, but crews were able to use terrain to box it in, and it was quickly contained after burning about 200 acres. The smoke didn't result in too many delays along the Interstate, but did provide drivers some close views of crews in action.

This is the second large blaze of the season so far in Grant County, and more are expected. The site of this fire is still being monitored, but it's believed to be all out.
