Family Dogs Save Leavenworth Boy from Cougar Attack

The old cliche that dog is man's best friend has proven to be true once again as a cougar knocked down a 4 year old in Enchantment Park. The incident happened Saturday 6/1. The boy was not injured and the family dogs ran the attacker off. Officials say cougar encounters are quite rare. Just as a fresh crop of stories about people leaving their pets in hot cars comes out for 2019, it's good to hear about dogs with a loving family being the heroes.
