The heat is here Tri-Cities! Today we are expecting a high near 105 with temps staying around 100 for at least the next week!

Yesterday had a high of 97 degrees, and the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory from noon to 10 p.m. on Friday, according to reports.

97 degrees is expected on Saturday with another 100 degree day on Sunday. Next week is going to be more of the same near 100 degree temps all week long.

Remember to water all your outside plants more often, keep kids and pets indoors, and keep yourselves hydrated.

Also, a red flag fire warning has been issued for Benton County from 4 to 11 p.m. because of low humidity and predicted gusty breezes.

That means any wildfires could spread quickly and no burning will be allowed, including agriculture burning.
