Evening Crash Kills Motorcycle Rider North of Pasco

Franklin County Deputies say a motorcycle rider was killed in a "violent" collision with a car, around 7PM Thursday evening.

Officials say it occurred near the intersection of Glade Road North and Clarks Roads, a few miles north of Pasco.

Deputies said the car turned in front of the rider, they apparently had no time to swerve or avoid the crash. Deputies did not say which way either vehicle was traveling.

It is not yet known at this time if any drugs or intoxicants were a factor in the crash. No word if any injuries to the driver or any persons who may have been in the car. The investigation continues.

The name of the motorcycle rider has not yet been released.
