Drunk Driver Blows Red Light, Takes Out Fence, Irrigation Line

Early Sunday morning, speed and booze were too much for one Kennewick driver. Fence and Irrigation line 1, driver 0.

Kennewick police say Felix Ramirez is in jail suspected of DUI after he blew through the flashing read light at 27th. and South Washington streets around 5am Sunday.

Authorities say he ran the light, tried to turn onto 27th but was traveling too fast for the corner. He lost control ,plowed through a fence into a yard, and took out a raised irrigation line.

He will likely be in jail, and his car will be resting in the impound for some time.
