Driver Rolls Truck Trying to Climb Embankment, Then Flees

Benton County Deputies and the Washington State Patrol were busy around midnight Monday night after someone rolled their truck on Highway 225 near North River Road.

The accident, about four miles North of Benton City, apparently occurred when the driver went down the steep embankment. Then they tried to drive their truck up the hill, but that only resulted in it rolling over and back down to the bottom, coming to a rest on its roof!

The driver fled the scene, officials say they have yet to be identified. Well, they're not going very far without their vehicle. Authorities are concerned the driver may have sustained injuries in the incident, given that the truck rolled several times down the steep embankment.
