Roads? where we are going, we don't need roads is a famous line from the movie Back To The Future and one driver in Pasco thought so as they submerged their car into the Columbia River over the weekend. I'm not sure if they thought they were the Duke boys or what but I don't think it's going to buff out!

Pasco Police provided the incident and plenty of pictures on their Facebook page over the weekend on this incident.

The driver was located walking away from the area and was cited and released from the scene for reckless driving and other charges. I can't imagine what kind of excuse they made for the car being in the water, can you?

Thankfully no one was injured in the popular sporting area. Pasco Police say that we were also lucky that there was no spill of fluids in the river.

I'm still scratching my head on this one. It reminds me of my childhood when we'd take our BMX bikes and jump off ramps. The ramps of course couldn't handle the stress and they'd break. This incident has got me baffled, how about you?
