Local Baby Doctor Traded Painkillers for Sex

A local OB-GYN is facing charges because he allegedly prescribed over 60 drugs for prostitutes he had relationships with. According to reports Dr. Lewis J. Meline prescribed the drugs over an 18 month period of time. He also allegedly prescribed numerous drugs for his immediate family and himself without keeping records.

Lewis faces charges of unprofessional conduct; incompetence, negligence or malpractice; possession, use, prescription for use or distribution of controlled substances; violation of state or federal statute or administrative rule regulating the medical profession; and abuse of a client or patient or sexual contact with a client or patient
