Last December a six grade student was being disruptive in a classroom in the Quincy school district. The substitute teacher, Ken Lacey, asked her to come to the front of the class. She refused and so the substitute allegedly instructed other students to drag her to the front of the class. The student received small marks or bruises on her arms but otherwise was reported as unharmed.

After the incident was reported, Lacey resigned immediately and has been under investigation.

It was just announced the prosecuting attorney will not press criminal charges against Lacey after reviewing the case.

Do you think he got off easy? I think most people agree he crossed the line but the degree of punishment he deserves for his crime, I myself can't decide.
