Level 1 is considered the least likely to re-offend, but all convicted sex offenders in WA state must register with local law enforcement; and they must not 'vanish' or move without notification.

That's why Benton County Deputies have an arrest warrant for this man, Ronnie Wait. No specific previous address was given by authorities, but on May 13, a warrant was issued for his failure to register in Benton County.

Deputies didn't elaborate as to when he was convicted or how long he served time, but he's wanted.

Level 1 offenders are not published in the Washington Sex Offender Public Registry, but authorities still require them to keep tabs with local law enforcement.

WA state has three levels of offenders, according to information from the King County Sheriff's Office:

  • Level 1. The vast majority of registered sex offenders are classified as Level 1 offenders. ...
  • Level 2. Offenders have a moderate risk of re-offending. ...
  • Level 3. Offenders are considered to have a high risk to re-offend
