The world's best chicken!

That's the claim I've been hearing since the yellow and red sign of El Parrillon Loco went up. Nestled on the corner of 2nd Ave and Nob Hill, this Foodie Friday with Sarah J powered by Coca-Cola of Yakima and Tri-Cities is going loco for pollo!

You might have caught the smoke drifting up from the outdoor grilling area while you're whizzing past but it's walking across the parking lot that you know the magic has begun.

You can smell delicious grilled chicken wafting through the air before you can get to the entrance, which by the way has a fun and inviting vibe. Another nod to the fact you're up for a next-level type of meal.

Don't let the menu offerings overwhelm you, you'll be coming back again so no order is wrong. An order of chicken is a great starter, you can go with an entire chicken down to a bit and it comes with creamy beans and a light and flavorful rice. The enchiladas have a nice twist, made with mole and the number of street taco options is impressive! Like I wanted to order one of each.

Now I don't know about you but I am a freak for a good sauce and all the sides. El Parrillon Loco has an insane sauce, salsa, and sides bar. From red and green salsa options with varying heats to some type of creamy spicy sauce then radishes, pickled carrots, purple onion, cilantro, and limes. It's a meal. Fill up your steaming hot and fresh-made tortillas with juicy and perfectly seasoned chicken, rice, beans. Then all the fixings and you've got the world's best lunch or dinner around!

El Parrillon Loco is open Monday - Friday 11 am - 9 pm, Saturday's and Sunday 10 am - 9 pm.
